Gold diamond ring in a retro setting

In the archives of old Parisian jewelry workshops from the 1920s, you can find sketches of small, round rings that designers called médaillons lumineux, "luminous medallions." It is from such drawings that the form of this model arises: a small, perfectly regular dial surrounding a central diamond, set in a smooth, secure white gold bezel.

The soft transition between the yellow gold of the shank and the cooler tone of the setting creates an effect as if the diamond floats above the structure, like a small spotlight set in an Art Deco architectural frame. On the sides, we added two small stones that act like luminous "commas," enclosing the composition and giving it a rhythm typical of jewelry from that era: geometric but not austere; decorative yet orderly.

We make each model individually in our workshop, so you can freely choose the size and gold variant. The ring retains its lightness, while at the same time carrying that precise, almost architectural harmony characteristic of Art Deco.
